He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family Marguerite Nielson, Maralice Blagden and Jack Cox. He was predeceased by his father and mother William and Margaret Nielson. On December 19, 1949, our father Marvin was born in Craik, Saskatchewan. He was a very loving, kind and hard working for his children. He taught us great values of life and we will remember everything he has taught us in life. He was always there for his grandchilren whether it was sporting event, school event or birthdays. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren and children grow up to be the people they are today. He had a passion for watching sports either live or on tv and could be seen at all his grandchildrens' games. Another passion of his was working with his hands. He loved to do woodworking and gardening. He was always around to help loved ones with any of those kind of projects. Marvin had many jobs but most were sales oriented. He loved to talk and could sell almost anything. Whether it was buildings for his family company ZipperLock, shelving for Luvan Equipment, Cars for Murray Chevrolet or Hvac equipment for Four Seasons. His last job was for Akman Management as a security/doorman which he really enjoyed. On Saturday May 18, 2019, Marvin's Celebration of Life will be held from 11am to 3pm at Eastern Star Chalet at 525 Cathcart Ave. In Lieu of flowers, donations to be made at CancerCare Manitoba. We wish to thank Dr Paul and Rose at Cancer Care, many nurses and doctors at St Boniface palliative care ward for taking care of our father to make him as comfortable as possible for his peaceful passing.
